Vitamin C is often found in skin care products both for the face and for the body. Vitamin C is one of the best vitamins for skin care in the sense that it encourages new collagen to grow, protects your skin from sun damage, fades pigmentation, and so many more benefits that you wouldn’t believe! In addition to eating foods high in Vitamin C, you can apply it topically to make the most out of its benefits. 

Vitamin C is also called ascorbic acid. Don’t let the word acid scare you, though, because this natural substance is amazing for your skin!  It’s a water-soluble natural substance that has been proven to improve skin health (as well as having many other health benefits that will overall improve the way you look and feel). It’s a powerful antioxidant and can also help prevent signs of aging, including fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce hyperpigmentation.
